This weekend the weather was beautiful, the sun was shining, the birds were singing…. ahhh, wonderful.
What better time for the Man and I to spend working our fingers to the bone out in the garden for hours, and hours, and hours…..
That means I am so buggered tonight that I am sharing a photo of a Hover fly I saw hanging out on a daisy in our back lawn so that I don’t have to think of something else. 😉
Have a happy day, I hope you are having lovely weather too, and I’m off to bed 😀
Daisy and Hover fly.
This weekend we spent most of the time outside pottering around in the garden. It was beautiful weather until about 5pm on Sunday when it started pouring with rain. Hmmmm… still spring I see…
I don’t really love summer that much, extreme heat sends me to the edge of serial killer-dom. Fine sunny days when all is right in the world though, that I love, and this weekend was a perfect example of one, bliss!
I had a chance to wander around in the garden with my camera too, the lavender hedges out the front were alive with bees. That meant I barely had to step off the verandah to get this shot of a busy bee looking extra furry. I was really pleased with this photo, my camera and I are slowly coming to an understanding. Now if only the critters would stay still long enough for me to get the perfect shot every time!
