  1. Thank you so much for this Metan! I actually really liked that dubstep whatever thingie. The Daughter has talked about it but I still don’t know what it is. Meh, but with such music who cares. 😉

  2. It’s aazig what goodi the ‘net turns up… the vioin was once considered staid & boring – necessary for classical… and more lively and attractive in folk music… but this takes it to new realm. Video gives life to stringed instruments 🙂

    • Aargh. My laptop keyboard was not happy this morning… the above translates as “It’s amazing what goodies the ‘net turns up… the violin…”

      • I totally understood what you meant. 🙂 clearly your keyboard needs a sleep-in though.

It is great to see what can be done with a bit of imagination (and lashings of talent) isn’t it. She certainly lifts the violin above its old staid image.

  3. Lovely stuff – and the setting reminded me of the ice hotel in Kirkenes where you would’ve had frostbite if you had tried playing the violin in the place!

    • I wonder how many takes they did or how little playing was actually going on? I bet she just danced about and held the violin most of the time, her fingers moving properly only for the close ups!

Tell me something!
